15,000+ cy – Arsenic Contaminated Soils

Grid completed remediation logistics coordination, transportation, and disposal activities at a large public facility development located in the New York metropolitan area.  Grid advised its client with respect to management of tens of thousands of cubic yards of soils requiring disposal or beneficial reuse in accordance with applicable state, federal, and local regulations, as well as the redevelopment plan for the site.  Grid’s services included providing strategic advice to the transporter, development and implementation of soil characterization plans, permit review, on-site management, and management of segregation of various facility-specific waste streams, all of which significantly reduced the client’s anticipated costs for the project.

Costco Gas Station – Petroleum Impacted Soils Logistics

Grid completed a turn-key soil management solution for remediation and redevelopment of a petroleum-impacted property as a Costco gasoline station.  Services included review of existing analytical data, characterization, preparation of waste characterization reports, review and identification of cost-effective soil disposal options, and transportation and disposal of several thousand cubic yards of soils originating from the site, and coordination of operations with local trucking unions.

Hazardous Soils Remediation – NYC-SCA

Grid has completed turn-key soil management, logistics transportation, and disposal service at a public school brownfield project.  Grid completed analytical review, permit review, facility identification, preparation of site excavation and soil management plans, and transportation and disposal of soils originating from the site.  Several thousand cubic yards of soils, consisting of various waste streams requiring disposal, treatment as hazardous waste, or beneficial reuse was managed by Grid in accordance NYC, NY State, NJ, and PA facility regulations, as well as the New York City Office of Environmental Remedation requirements and the remedial action plans for the site.

15,000+ tons – Remediation Logistics, Public School Project

Grid has completed soil management, transportation, disposal, at a new public school project in the New York metropolitan area.  Grid completed analytical review, permit review, facility approval, preparation of site excavation and soil management plans, and coordination of transportation and disposal of soils originating from the site.  Over 15,000 tons (10,000 cubic yards) of soils requiring disposal or beneficial reuse was managed by Grid in accordance NYC, NY State, and NJ facility regulations, as well as New York City School Construction Authority requirements and the remedial action plans for the site. The project was completed on-time and under budget.
